How to increase your self respect
Set boundaries: Define your limits and communicate them clearly to others. Only say yes to things that you truly want to do, and don't be afraid to say no.
Practice self-care: Take care of your physical, mental, and emotional health by eating well, getting enough sleep, exercising, and engaging in activities that bring you joy.
Challenge negative self-talk: Catch yourself when you start to speak negatively about yourself and replace those negative thoughts with positive ones.
Take responsibility for your actions: Admit when you are wrong, apologize if necessary, and work to make amends.
Surround yourself with positive people: Spend time with people who support and encourage you, and avoid those who bring you down or make you feel bad about yourself.
Pursue your passions: Identify your interests and pursue them with enthusiasm. This will help you feel more confident and proud of yourself.
Recognize your accomplishments: Celebrate your successes, even the small ones. Take note of what you have achieved and give yourself credit for your hard work and dedication.
Stand up for yourself: Speak up when someone is treating you unfairly or disrespectfully. Stand up for your rights and defend your values and beliefs.
